Senior Financial/M&A Analyst

Right now, Headfarmer is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join one of our fastest growing, mid-market clients in Scottsdale.  This premier and brand name company in Phoenix is in hyper-growth mode with double-digit acquisitions pending.  If you are looking for a fast-pace, hands-on, entrepreneurial environment with direct access to the owner/founder and VP of Finance, then this is the opportunity for you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Build financial models and regularly present to senior leadership and capital partners, including companywide valuation models, investment models, and scenario analysis
• Lead creation of annual budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans considering changes in tactical and strategic plans, operations, and trends
• Conduct P&L analysis, revenue analysis, ad-hoc reporting, cash flow analysis, and other operational and financial analysis
• Identify, analyze, and track trends that impact financial performance and opportunities to maximum company growth
• Work collaboratively with senior leadership and capital partners to develop financial objectives for long-term company growth

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s in Finance from a top business program
• 1-2 yrs of exp in private equity or investment banking
• Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools, including heavy financial modeling experience (with a M&A focus)
• Extremely high analytical skills
• Experience with Great Plains and Prophix preferred
• Great communication and can thrive in a fast-pace, high changing environment with many mergers and acquisitions in the future
